PROJECT DETAILS

The project influence area of the proposed road in Package VB traverses in the only district of Kangra in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The project road of this package starts at Bhangbar (Near Ranital) (Km. 175.270) and ends at the end of Kangra Bypass (Km. 193.400) in the intersection of NH154. The total length of the Package-V(B) is 18.130 Km.

The National Highways Authority of India through their letter No. NHAI/Shimla Mataur /Pkg-VB/HAM/HP/2021, had accepted the proposal quoted by Gawar Construction Limited and declared Gawar Construction Limited as the “Selected Bidder”.

Gawar Construction Limited had incorporated Gawar Kangra Highways Private Limited (GKHPL) as a special purpose vehicle for this road project. GKHPL was incorporated on 10th May 2021 and Concession Agreement was executed between National Highways Authority of India and Gawar Kangra Highways Private Limited on 22nd June 2021.

ABOUT GSHPL

- Gawar Kangra Highways Private Limited (GKHPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Gawar Construction Limited (GCL). It was incorporated on 26th July, 2022.
- Name of the Authority – National Highways Authority of India
- Concession Agreement – Signed on 22nd June, 2021
- Appointed Date of the project Declared on 12th Jan, 2024
- Stipulated Date of Completion of project – 29th December, 2024
- Construction Period – 730 Days
- Lenders – Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank
- CRISIL Ratings assigned long-term bank rating as ‘CRISIL A/ Stable’.
- Physical Progress – (certified by Independent Engineer) upto March 2024 is 51.80%.
- Financial Progress – (as on 31-03-2024) is 49.31%.

PROFILE OF THE DIRECTORS

He is a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering having experience of more than 40 years in Govt. and Private sectors. He worked as Chief GM (Tech) NHAI, as MD Haryana State Roads & Bridges Development Corporation, as Chief Engineer Haryana PWD (B&R). Some of the prestigious projects got executed by him while in Govt sector are: Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Delhi Meerut Expressway in 500 days, Govt Women University Khanpur Kalan Haryana in 13 months. He has written many Technical papers. Three of these were selected in NASA Digital Library and one in the Howard University Library. He has written a book titled “Expressways in 500 days”. Some of the prestigious awards received by him are:- ‘Udyog Rattan Award’ by Institute of Economics Studies in year 2007, ‘Trendsetter Project of the year 2018’ at Mumbai, ‘The Expressway Man of the Year’ by Global Leaders Awards at Dubai in year 2019, ‘Appreciation Letter’ from Shri Nripendra Misra, Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Prime Minister, ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ in 2019 & ‘Outstanding Performance in Expressways and Highways’ in Europe in 2020 by Global Leaders Awards.

He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has a rich experience of over 12 years in the field of Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, etc. He has been associated with group for over a decade.

--Mr. Yogesh Mahajan

He joined Gawar group in 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Kurukshetra University and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) with Dual Specialization in Finance and Marketing from Lingaya's Institute of Management and Technology Faridabad (MDU, Rohtak) in year 2008. At Gawar Kangra Highways Private Limited, he is responsible for business strategy, financial planning, business process streamlining, and investor management.
