The project influence area of the proposed road in Package VB traverses in the only district of Kangra in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The project road of this package starts at Bhangbar (Near Ranital) (Km. 175.270) and ends at the end of Kangra Bypass (Km. 193.400) in the intersection of NH154. The total length of the Package-V(B) is 18.130 Km.
The National Highways Authority of India through their letter No. NHAI/Shimla Mataur /Pkg-VB/HAM/HP/2021, had accepted the proposal quoted by Gawar Construction Limited and declared Gawar Construction Limited as the “Selected Bidder”.
Gawar Construction Limited had incorporated Gawar Kangra Highways Private Limited (GKHPL) as a special purpose vehicle for this road project. GKHPL was incorporated on 10th May 2021 and Concession Agreement was executed between National Highways Authority of India and Gawar Kangra Highways Private Limited on 22nd June 2021.
